Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the participant to perform, allowing players a great amount of freedom in choosing how to experiment with the gameHowever, there is an achievements system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the choice to experience in third person mode. The core gameplay revolves around placing and breaking blocks. The overall game world is composed of rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a set grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move around the world freely, objects can only be located at preset locations on the grid. Players can collect these material place and blocks them anywhere else, enabling various constructions thus.In the beginning of the game, the participant is positioned on the top of the procedurally generated and practically infinite game world.
