Minecraft is a sandbox gaming originally created by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and developed and publicized by Mojang later. The creative and building areas of Minecraft allow players to develop constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Alternative activities in the game include exploration, reference gathering, crafting, and battle. Multiple gameplay modes are available, including survival mode where the player must acquire resources to make the global world and maintain health, a creative setting where players have unlimited resources to create with and the ability to fly, an excitement mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator function where players can fly around and clip through blocks, but cannot place or kill any. The Computer version of the overall game is noted for its modding scene, in which a dedicated community creates new gameplay technicians, items, and investments for the game.Minecraft received compliment from critics after release, and received numerous accolades and honours.
