Minecraft is a sandbox video game formerly created by Swedish game creator Markus "Notch" Persson, and developed and printed by Mojang later. The creative and building areas of Minecraft allow players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the overall game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat.
